The joy of making a website

Nowadays, it's as easy as 1..2..3 to use online platforms to grow your business or online presence. With free web hosting sites such as Wix or WordPress you can choose a template that speaks to you and begin writing, blogging, editing and of course posting.  Keep in mind that It's important to keep your posts short and to the point but also engaging.  You want to pull the reader in and create a personal bond with them.  Also, finding your niche is key.  Many blogs/websites have a theme.  Such as photography , travel, freelance writer etc,  Find what works best for you.  The topic that you feel most passionate about is the topic you can write the most about as well, because you're familiar with that field.  

When creating my website I used WordPress.  However, you can also choose Wix, both are very similar and offer a large range of themes and plugins.  I am a Media Productions major that has a passion for photography.  As a result of this, I have posted some of my photos.  In addition to this, if a future employee wanted to get a hold of me they could do so by simply contacting me.  On my website I have my Linkedin, email and even a link to my YouTube channel as well as my social media.  You never know who is watching your stuff, so it is recommended to keep it clean and appropriate.  Overall, being able to create a website and publishing it a good way to reach a large number of people while also creating an audience or your posts.
