WikiHow is a web-based platform for users to freely publish information about how to do things.  These things can range from simple tasks such as tying a tie, to making pottery.  At a quick glance WikiHow looks like a fun and intuitive site that is easy to navigate.  You can type just about any question and a corresponding article will appear.

When going through the process of making a WikiHow article, users are greeted with a user friendly layout.  It's a good idea to have some thoughts about what it is you want to write about.  Remember, this is an article that has the potential to help someone.   Keep the overall wording, and directions easy for anyone to follow.  Also, be sure to be detailed but not overly done.  Readers often like short but to the point explanations with pictures.  Pictures can help create a visual representation of the article. Illustrations are nice and can be colorful, but using real photos that show the process is highly useful for those that want to see the real thing.   For example, if someone were to write about setting up/flying  a drone, take photos of each step and crop the image to size in addition to saving it in the correct file format.  If there are other objects, people or things within the image that have nothing to do with the WikiHow, remove from the photo.  Only focus on what’s important in correlation to your WikiHow article.  You can use as many  photos as you like based on the steps needed to complete the task at hand.
